Concourse D Expansion Opens at HJAIA

The Holder-Moody-Bryson-Sovereign team proudly attended the ribbon cutting on the second phase of the Concourse D Widening project at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (HJAIA). This milestone marks a significant step forward in enhancing passenger experience at the world’s busiest airport.

Concourse D, historically the narrowest of HJAIA’s concourses, has long struggled with limited capacity and traveler congestion. The revitalization effort was driven by the need to create a more functional, spacious, and modern environment for passengers arriving to and departing from Atlanta.

With the opening of this new section, the first travelers are now experiencing a glimpse of the future of airline travel. The expansion introduces five brand-new passenger gates designed to elevate comfort and efficiency. Among the key features are:
